We talk in sports about a lot of things that don't actually matter.

We just do. We talk about a lot of things. Now, Trent Dofer is going to join me at 25 after this hour. And I'm not saying

that Trent's analysis of the quarterback position doesn't matter, but we do get nitpicky on little fundamental details.

And little things do become big things, right?

If you're holding the football wrong, it becomes a big thing.

If your footwork is, if your eyes drop, like all of these things, little things become big things.

So I'm not saying that the analysis of the quarterback position is wrong.

And in it of itself, you can use that analysis to understand why a guy is inaccurate,

or if his eyes were darting the wrong way, or if the play was poorly designed,

or if they were all fooled in terms of what the coverage was,

or if there wasn't their correct pass protection based upon the blitz that was coming.

All of those things are real things.

But we do this thing and we talk about who wants it more?
