What does the Prime Minister have against farmers anyway?

Does he not see that his budget is killing farming

in this country? And a senior MP argues that the employment rights bill is needed because of

firms like Amazon, where some workers claimed they were literally having to urinate into bottles

because they did not dare take time out from their tasks to go to the bathroom and back.

But first, the Prime Minister has said all options remain on the table in response to President

Trump's decision to put 25% tariffs on all aluminum and steel entering the United States from

anywhere in the world. The EU has countered with tariffs on US goods.

But the UK, which is trying to clinch a trade deal with Washington,

did not signal any immediate retaliation.

At Prime Minister's question time, the Lib Dem leader, Sir Ed Davy,

said that tariffs were already hitting British industry.

We on these benches believe he must be more robust with present Trump, like the Europeans

and like the Canadians.
