This happened during college. I became friends with this girl who I'll call Sarah. We hit it off

right away. My fiance and I began hanging out with Sarah and her boyfriend, John, and the four

of us became good friends. Something Sarah was very passionate about was weddings.

She had a stack of bridal magazines in her dorm room and we would often look at engagement rings

online. She even had a big vision board on her wall. It was complete with color palettes,

table setting ideas, centerpiece ideas, a list of reception songs, and a picture of models in

bridal gowns. And the center of her board was the picture of the dress that she had dubbed her

dream dress, complete with a picture of Sarah's face cut out and pasted on the shoulders.

At the time, I didn't think too much of it. I just thought that Sarah really liked weddings

and was imagining the idea of having her own someday.

Sarah's boyfriend, John, on the other hand, felt differently. Although he and Sarah had been

together for a few years, John had no interest in getting married. He would get frustrated with Sarah
