Finally, Mascabuch gets himself into a position where certainly by 1984, with all this

internal check and checkmate and moves and getting rid of people and stuff, Mascabuch is

now in a position where he's basically the single guy running or making the major decisions

on a day-to-day basis for Scientology internationally.

Because Hubbard's off in his thing and he's reporting to Hubbard and there are people

who are still not friendly to Mascabuch.

I mean, it's not totally like this clean coup yet.

It hasn't quite totally happened yet, but it has gotten to a place where everybody's

most people are thinking that Hubbard wants it this way and reports are going up and

down the lines and there are people who are having some problems with Mascabuch's doing

still, but they've got to be careful about how they're going about doing what they're

doing.
