Hey, everybody, we got a great one today.

You know, for a change, Frank Four from the Atlantic Monthly for a report on the war in Ukraine.

Actually, this great one was supposed to be on last week, but we had a breaking news.

In case you've forgotten, the Justice

Department issued a 37 count indictment on former President Donald Trump. And it was my

news judgment that we should hold Frank's brilliant podcast for a merely adequate one of me and

Mark Leibovic discussing the indictment.

But wouldn't you know it?

My judgment was slightly off because it turned out that the one with Mark was just fantastic.

So two great ones in a row.

That has happened before, but we don't keep records here.

So I can't remember.

But before we get to the counteroffensive in Ukraine, a little bit more about the indictment

of the former president, Donald Trump.

It all looked very, very bad for him, especially if you read the 37 counts.

And then he got assigned Judge Ealing Cannon, a district judge in the Southern District of Florida,

who had been the judge on the documents case before and had made a couple rulings that were overturned

by the very conservative 11th Circuit

Court of Appeals, which really rebuked her for being a terrible judge.

And now she's the judge for Trump's trial on the documents, and she has tremendous power

here.
