On April 4th, 1991, 20-year-old Angela Hammond, who was four months pregnant, stopped at a payphone outside a grocery store in Clinton, Missouri, to call her fiancée.

During the call, she told him a strange pickup truck had been circling the block.

Moments later, he heard a scream, and then the line went dead.

More than 34 years later, she has never been found.

Detectives believe she was abducted, but without answers,

her family and the community are left wondering,

off 2026 with it. And an interesting side note about this case is it occurred a little over a year

before the Springfield 3 case, which I recently covered. And as far as the geography is concerned,

it's about an hour and a half from Springfield. And because of this, Angela Hammond's mother

and Stacey McCall's mother actually became friends due to the tragic losses

they both experienced. And on one hand, that's sad, that that's what brought them together. On the
