We very seldom call up our friends and say hey come on over Saturday night

let's talk about sex okay we just that's not usually how we do things but I was doing the sex talk at the Family Life

Marriage Conference, and we were talking about the need

to have the sex talk with your kids,

that it's incredibly important to do that

if you're married and have kids.

And I spontaneously just said to the audience,

it was about a thousand people.

I said, men, how many of you growing up

had the sex talk?

Somebody gave you the talk. your dad sat down with you and just kind of gave it to you.

20 out of 500 men, less than 20 men raised their hand.

There was an audible gasp from the audience. So let me ask

you this question. Men, how many of you, your dad sat down with you, your mom sat down

with you and gave you the sex talk.

Raise your hands.

Look around.

Wow, that's really good, but I bet you were looking at maybe 25 people.

Ladies, how many of you? Somebody sat down and have the sex talk with you, your mom or your dad. Show hands.

Yeah, it's usually higher with the women, isn't it? Now why is that true that it's not everybody?
