So I wanted to just kind of introduce, you know, how alcohol kind of came into the picture

because I was still attending and I was in my faith, you know, examination process at

that time.

And that summer we moved into a house that we had just built into a new neighborhood

and we didn't have a lot of new friends.

You know, we were kind of beginning to step out of our church community more.

And so, you know, as we're moving into this new neighborhood, you know, we see someone

walking down the street, hi, who are you?

Like nice to meet you.

Would you like to come over for a barbecue?

So this guy's name is Dallas, you know, just met him, brought a six pack of beer with

him and, you know, it's like, okay, well, I don't really believe in the, you know, the

word of wisdom for say anymore, the doctrine, governance for what it was, you know.
