Welcome back to the podcast. My name is Joseph Clough and this episode 1,100 and 881. And today we're doing a power talk.

This power talk is hopefully going to jolt us into our power state. Because I wanted to kind of

dive into like three phases that we can go into on

our journey of not transforming to transforming. So here's what way I like to think about it. Most people

are very unconscious to the fact of how powerful they are.

They're very unconscious in terms of what they think is possible

because of the limiting beliefs they have about themselves.

Say if we don't feel worthy, deserving or enough,

you're going to limit what is possible, right? Like you're going to kind of turn

down opportunities. And even more than that, sometimes you're not even consciously aware of it

because these are unconscious belief systems. It is all you know and therefore you just live that way.

In a way, we're sedated, which I've said before in previous episodes,

we become sedated in life. We try to like just drown out what we think is good. Sorry, not what

we think is good. We kind of drown out what we think is good for us by playing small in other words.

So ask yourself, when we think of being sedated in life, what kind of habits does that actually introduce? Is it certain behaviors, maybe drinking,

smoking, maybe doing like a doom scrolling on TikTok.

Or it could be just the repression of the emotions

that we don't want to be feeling.

The repression of the beliefs and thoughts we have about ourselves,

like numbing ourselves out ultimately.

And we are rejecting what the real issue is

because we just keep pushing it down now it's not just you consciously in fact I'd probably
