my question is around school readiness of my child. In Australia, the cutoff date is the

31st of July. So of all the children who are turning five before July 31st are eligible to start

school in the year. My daughter is well within the range. To give you some background,

she has been attending daycare from the age of one and a half and now can read letters, numbers,

write her name, etc. She has toilet trained as well, can bathe independently and dress herself, et cetera.
