What's up? Welcome to Side Esel School. It's your host, Chris Gillibow. Got a question

0:09.0

from a listener today. This question aligns well with both this week and last week's

0:14.0

classroom focus. Now last week was all about the MVP of MVP's minimum viable product.

0:19.5

In other words, how can you create something really simple? How can we get that going? Make

0:23.2

sure you're moving forward with the nuts and bolts, logistics, etc. And this week was

0:27.9

all about finding time to work on your hustle to very important topics. Well, as I said,

0:33.6

this question aligns well. Our side hustle today is wondering whether he should work with

0:37.4

a fulfillment center for his first private label product or do it all himself. Now, of

0:42.3

course, there are pros and cons to each approach, no universal answer. But in his case, what's

0:46.8

best for him and how would you make a similar decision? Should I distribute a private label

0:52.5

product myself or not? That's what we're going to talk about in this episode.

0:56.5

Hey Chris, this is Chad from Rockledge, Florida. I love the show and I think I've pretty

1:08.7

much taken it about every episode to date. The problem with that is all I do is listen

1:13.3

to you and I take no action. So this year, 2020, I'm changing all that. So here's my question.

1:20.4

This is the best way for a small private label product idea to start with packaging and

1:25.8

distribution logistics for their product. A first order will require about 500 units,

1:32.0

but I'm stuck on making decision. Should I attempt to bring those all home and distribute

1:36.5

from my house or jump right into a fulfillment center? I see positives and negatives to both

1:42.6

starting off. Bringing in a fulfillment center into the picture adds a lot of additional

1:47.7

research, decision-making and costs for an unproven brand. But it obviously saved me personally

1:53.4

a bunch of time. I work construction, putting in 50 to 60 hours a week, so time has always

1:58.2

been my excuse. Any suggestions on how to help me push through my indecision? Thanks
