It was an interview I did with Eric Eikawa back in 2013.

And it was actually the second episode ever produced of this show.

I've had an extremely hectic work schedule since the

beginning of the year, which has slowed down my production for this show. So that's why I'm

Eric Arakawa really doesn't need an introduction, I don't think.

He's obviously, really, I mean, one of the world's most revered surfboard shapers based in Hawaii, built boards for Andy Irons.

He talks about that in this episode, builds boards for, you know, everybody that comes

through Hawaii in the wintertime, essentially.

And then, um, invented the nose guard, which was a detail that was, I think, fairly

new to me when I was, um, researching the episode to interview Eric.

So when I learned that.

But, I mean, he's just a really articulate guy and a really accomplished businessman in

addition to surfboard Shaper and surfer, actually.

So really, really great dude, really great interview.
