So we're going to talk a bit about that, but I want to start, Ash.

You've come down from Leicester today.

You're a Leicester angler.

And it occurred to me that Leicester has produced probably more than its fair share of good carp anglers.

I'm thinking, like Lee Petty, yourself, Martin Pick, Kev Wilson,

all people that you sort of grew up around, mate.

Tell us a little bit about how you got into cart fishing in that neck of the woods.

Yeah, so I'd say I'd probably seriously started cartfish

from probably 14, 15, 16 16 so quite a young lad um there was a group of lakes near where I lived um and some of the good or angler better anglers were fishing on there and the likes of petty martin and then later on a few years down the line,

Kev Wilson started taking up cart fishing again.

So yeah, growing up in that neck of the woods,

there was some decent anglers.
