Republican primary. Ultimately Reagan chose George Herbert Walker Bush as his vice president.

Reagan served for two terms, if you'll recall, then George Herbert Walker Bush won in 1988

against Michael Ducakis served for one term and then was defeated by Bill Clinton.

But just to give you a sense, we're talking about now 37 years ago,

approximately, probably very close to the date, maybe a little bit earlier.
