Donna Barnhard worked for the Sundrop Bautling Company for nearly 19 years. She was kind,

friendly, and loved her job. On Friday, June 13, 2008, she went in expecting a normal

day, but things would turn deadly. Daryl Knowles, a resident of Concord, North Carolina,

walked into the bottling plant that morning to turn in a job application. He never imagined that

he would never walk out. Sometime around 10 a.m., an unknown assailant entered the building,

stole and undisclosed amount of money, and shot and killed Donna and Daryl before disappearing

into a nearby wooded area. Despite exhaustive efforts by police, they were not able to locate the

suspect. Twelve years have passed, and for all that time, two families have struggled to accept

the loss of their loved ones while a killer walks the streets. Concord police have followed hundreds

of tips, but they've all failed to deliver a suspect who remains unknown. This is Trace Evidence,
