Hello and welcome to another episode of the Mark Groves podcast.

0:11.9

Excited to be back in your ear having conversations about what really matters, right?

0:17.0

Relationships.

0:18.4

And, you know, I'm always really impressed when I see someone who's sort of in a

0:22.7

state of influence or, quote unquote, celebrity and using that influence to further conversations

0:28.9

that are important and have them in a fun way. And this recently is something I experienced when I

0:34.7

saw my friend Brandon Alexander, who has an Instagram account called New Age Gents, and he was talking with Giacomo Gianniotti. I hope I got that right. How Italian

0:44.7

was that? Seriously, I'm basically Italian now. And Giacomo, you may know him from Grey's Anatomy. He's an incredible man. I watched this talk,

0:58.0

and I was just struck by his level of compassion and awareness about the relational space,

1:02.5

about masculinity. And so I reached out to him and asked if he would be open to coming on the podcast.

1:08.1

And he said yes. So today's episode is a conversation about many things to do

1:14.4

with relationship. And I was just really excited to get to sit down with him and jam. And so,

1:20.6

you know, it's like we're all having coffee together, which I think is what podcasts are really like.

1:24.8

Anyways, I was so excited to have him on. He is a compassionate kind and very conscious man of his behavior.

1:33.0

And I think, I say this all the time,

1:35.8

that our ability to recognize our own shortcomings,

1:38.9

our own space for growth and expansion is actually what is so connective in relationship, is the ability

1:47.8

to hear feedback and all those things. And Giacomo shares a lot of his learnings that he's had

1:54.3

both growing up as a man and from an immigrant family and also his experience in relationship and his marriage now.

2:04.5

So I'm so excited for you to hear this episode. Before, of course, we get started. My ask is that

2:10.8

wherever you listen to this, please subscribe to it and leave a five-star review and a written review

2:15.3

that is so helpful to get into more people's ears.
