Anna Delvey is in a New York restaurant in 2017 when the bill arrives and she's with two

guests a photographer and a writer and she says don't worry worry about it, I will take care of it.

She takes out her credit card, she hands it to the waiter,

and she carries on drinking wine.

The waiter reappears.

He explains that the credit card hasn't worked,

and he asks, does she have another one that he could try. She impatiently hands him another card.

He takes this to his machine, she carries on drinking and then he's back again.

The second card hasn't worked.

Anna Delvia at this point takes out a third credit card.

And the same thing happens. It must be your machine, she says.

The restaurant apologise and they say, yes, surely, this must be our mistake and not yours.

She accepts the apology.
