Summary
In the age of AI, relationships just became the most valuable asset in your business.
But most entrepreneurs have no idea how to build them quickly, authentically, or in a way that actually sticks.
In this episode, Kelly sits down with Behdad Jamshi, an engineer turned entrepreneur, super connector, and founder of CJM Marketing, who has spent seven years reverse engineering how human connection actually works. After connecting with over 4,000 people and helping clients generate $10M+ in five months through the right introductions, he has developed a four-part framework for building deep, meaningful relationships in 10 minutes or less.
From the fish hook introduction that replaces the elevator pitch, to the three levels of conversation and how to leap between them, to the root and bloom model for applying energy to your network, this episode is a masterclass in the one skill that will matter more than any other in the era ahead.
If you have been wondering why your network isn't producing results, this conversation will completely change that.

| 1:24.1 | But let's give everybody a little bit of that snapshot before we dive in. Yeah, I love to. The quick background. So I started out as an engineer, super random. You know, most people think engineers aren't people that connect with others. So I used to work for a company very similar to Verizon in the States, but up in Canada, it's called TELUS. And a lot of the work I used to do is work with mid-sized businesses, understand what's happening from a C-level perspective, IT perspective, and then build out technology roadmaps. How do you get from A to B to C? And so I did that as my professional career for almost 10 years. And that's where I got all my sales, experience, leadership, technology, and background. On the other side of the fence, how I got into entrepreneurship, I built a business called CGM, the marketing connector, where essentially I connect businesses to the right marketing |
| 2:04.5 | agencies. I found there to be quite a bit of a gap. Businesses don't really understand |
| 2:08.3 | marketing and marketing agencies don't really understand business. And so I built out a network |

| 2:18.3 | And now I basically connect businesses based on what they need for that. |
