Hey everyone, thanks for downloading episode number 113 of our Civil War podcast.

0:29.3

I'm Rich and I'm Tracy. Hello y'all. Welcome to the podcast. So it's been a while since we talked with you guys,

0:38.1

although we did get the Lee in the low country members episode out last weekend, but some of you have

0:44.8

been waiting a while for this new Shiloh episode and probably a lot of you know by now that we kind of

0:51.6

got thrown off schedule with the podcast because I flew home to Pennsylvania for a while after my dad

0:58.2

suffered a massive heart attack. And it's really an amazing story since he had it rather inconveniently,

1:06.2

while he was traveling about four hours away from our home in Western Pennsylvania, but very

1:12.4

conveniently, he had it just a few miles away from one of the top cardiac hospitals in the country

1:18.6

in Eastern PA. And even then, they're at Allentown. They almost lost him, but they did get him

1:26.3

stabilized and fixed up and after being there a while, he was able to go home and I was able to

1:33.4

come back to Colorado. But that all just kind of threw Tracy and me for a loop as far as life and

1:41.2

work. And so podcasting took back seat for a bit, but now we're back. Like a bad penny. Like a bad penny,

1:49.5

although I'm not sure many people actually use pennies anymore, do they? I think they're going

1:55.4

the way of the wooden nickel. Kids today probably don't even know what a wooden nickel is.

2:01.2

Anyway, we and I, especially just wanted to say thank you for your understanding and patience

2:09.8

for the delay with this episode. And thank you to those of you who let us know your thoughts and

2:15.0

prayers were with my dad and our family. And he is doing well. In fact, now that he's been back

2:21.3

home and he's on medication, of course, and his diet has changed too. But he says he actually

2:28.8

feels better than before the heart attack since this problem had obviously been building up for a

2:35.2

while with the blockages and whatnot. And now that that's actually been addressed, he feels great.

2:41.6

So that's pretty amazing. And anyway, that's just a bit of an update for those of you who might

2:47.6

like to know. And now, hey you, that's your cue. And now, back to our regularly scheduled programming.
