Summary

As we’re about to get into 2021, I got to thinking about everything that's happened this year - in the world, in my own life at home, and in my business.

This year proves that we never know what’s going to happen, we can’t foresee the future and we never know what kind of obstacles or challenges we’re going to have to face. But as Viktor Frankl says, what we do have control over is how we choose to respond.

Even in the most frustrating or challenging situations, we always have the freedom to step back and choose a response that’s going to help empower us and give us the best outcome possible.

And amidst all of the scary stuff, so much good has come about this year:

- We finished renovation on the office and started working in there with the team, which has been amazing.

- So many exciting things have happened in FEA; new opportunities have come up and we've welcomed some amazing new members to the team and the Members' Club.

- And of course, Miss Marlie arrived in this world! ♥

So whatever comes in 2021, I have to remind myself to keep an eye on what I do have in life, and how much I have to be grateful for.

And remember, "Everything you have in life can be taken from you except one thing, your freedom to choose how you will respond to the situation." Have an amazing New Year, I can't wait to see you in 2021 :)

0:00.0	Oh hello! As we are about to get into 2021, I just thought I would make a final episode of the She Means Business Show and just reflect on the year and what it's been, how it's been and some of the biggest takeaways and things that have happened for me.
0:17.3	So as I'm sat here recording this, me and Molly, in fact the whole entire family's here,
0:22.8	Calentary, Casey's here, even the dog's here and you probably hear them in the background.
0:28.1	But, you know, this year we finally finished the renovation on the office and it's been
0:35.2	amazing to be here in this space.
0:40.5	We managed to get into the office as a team.
0:43.2	We were working here for like two or three weeks and then lockdown.
0:45.4	I was like, okay then.
0:49.0	It made me question like, did we do the right thing?
0:50.8	Is this the universe sending me a sign?
0:54.9	But, you know, having this office this year has just been so amazing because in the periods where we will not been in lockdown,
0:57.0	we've been able to work together,
0:58.2	it's just been so much fun and has made me realize
1:00.9	that while I love the virtual world and what's possible,
1:05.2	we've got still got a really big virtual team,
1:07.4	when you work together in person,
1:08.8	it just sparks so many more conversations that you would never have normally.
1:12.6	You only have them because you pass each other or you stop and you chat and then it leads to one thing and that leads to another thing.
1:17.6	And you have this amazing conversation and that's been really amazing this year.
1:21.6	This year, Marley came into the world back in August and that was again amazing it was it's been
1:30.1	interesting trying to navigate two kids and a business I'm not going to lie it's definitely
1:35.0	been interesting slash challenging and you know I used to work all hours of the day before
