One of the things that took me a long time to wrap my head around is that marketing is nothing more than a one big experiment. I don't know if you

can relate to this, but I used to be, used to be a perfectionist, meaning like everything had to be perfect before I put it

out there into the world. And so what happened was that it would take me forever to get stuff out.

And inevitably, once I finally did get it out, I would end up making changes anyway because

I'd start to see what was working and what wasn't. And then in 2004, I heard a very powerful quote from a friend of mine named Mike Lippman,

and he heard it from his mentor.

And the quote has stuck with me ever since, and I want to share it with you.

The quote was, you don't have to get it right, you just have to get it going.

I heard that quote and it was like it gave me permission. It gave me permission to just go,

to just try stuff, to just experiment. And this was really emphasized to me again. In my early

career, I was part of a mastermind and the person running the mastermind, Mr. Armand Morin, I asked him for a minute

and I sat down and I shared with him like this big mind map and I was proud of this my map. It had like
