0:55.9 | Kansin. My dad, I have three kids. I love health optimization. I like staying healthy myself. |
1:02.3 | But the reason why I got into health optimization is it's how you help most people. |
1:08.0 | We have a very sick population. And as I went through my education, I watched my |
1:13.3 | father who had a pretty large faith-based Christian practice with, I think, almost a hundred |
1:20.3 | nurse practitioners and physicians. And I saw how they really cared for their patients. But a lot |
1:26.4 | of times people still got really sick. They got |
1:28.7 | diabetes. They got obesity. They stopped exercising. They stopped eating healthy. So I wanted to |
1:34.4 | tailor my education in order to help people the most. When you're pursuing being a board-certified |
1:42.7 | family doctor and specializing in obesity, were there other areas of |
1:47.8 | medicine that you were being drawn towards? How did you end up in this area of expertise as |
1:55.1 | opposed to others? Yeah, I'm really glad that I did. I've known that I wanted to be a full spectrum family practice |
