Hello and welcome to episode 112 of the Kit & Krysta Podcast! We surprised ourselves over the last few weeks because we've both been playing our Nintendo 3DS again. If you would have asked us in 2024 whether we'd be doing this, we would have thought it impossible. Recently, we played Mario Kart 7 with our Patreon community since the online servers are about to shut down and we recently revealed that our April spoilercast game is Chrono Trigger so we've been playing that on 3DS as well. It's actually so nice to play true handheld games again and it really made us think that dedicated handheld games are not really a thing anymore in gaming and we really miss them! Also in this episode, we tell you all about Nintendo's unique relationship with Nickelodeon and Krysta covering the Kid's Choice Awards from the Orange Carpet. We jump into games we're playing which again is a lot of handheld games! In our news section we tell you what we think about Nintendo's big shake-up to their product testing department and them laying off contractors. We wrap it all up with questions from our Patreon community.
