I know this sounds like a roundabout way of getting into this.

I have a PhD and I'm kind of, I have to say thank you to you for it because when I started writing my thesis, somebody gave me a copy of Plateau of Mirror and I couldn't ever work listening

to music that had words or distracting it and I wrote my entire thesis to the sound of Plateau of Mirror which I had on an LP which I just played over and over and over again and now

Whenever I think of doing that it's the sound of your ambient albums that come back to me.

So thank you very much for enabling me to get through a very, very difficult three years.
