Were there any plans to shoot in the UK? No, but we were going to go to Germany, right?

I don't think we were ever going to Germany. I think that was like a very pie in the sky idea,

and it was very loosely discussed. But the logistics of what crew they could fly over we'd obviously have to work with a skeleton crew and it just was way too expensive

and also we didn't need to because Portland's forests kind of look enough like the black forest

so no there definitely weren't any plans to ever shoot in the UK.
