Hello everybody. How are you doing? Welcome back. I'm glad you're here. Thank you, as always,

0:35.0

for listening. Today is another chat with a fellow retirement planner. In this episode, I'll be talking with Victor Medina from Palante Wealth. He is based in New Jersey. So he and I have New Jersey blood. Go Bon Jovi. Go Springsteen. Go pork roll, I guess. Whatever else is uniquely in New Jersey. But no, this is a good one.

I won't spoil too much, but Victor has an interesting background with how he got into the business

1:02.7

of advising. A bit of a spoiler alert. He had, or still is, but he has a estate planning firm

I was still in my corporate investment and risk management world.

1:42.4

And he had a great podcast.

1:43.7

Still has a great podcast. It's under a different name now, but great podcast that I learned a tremendous amount from

1:48.4

and quickly, greatly respected him and his knowledge and his view and approach towards things.

1:53.2

And he and I have sort of loosely been in touch since, been friends through the internet and some

1:59.1

social media platform since. I first met him in person

2:02.0

a month or so ago when he was giving an educational presentation, not too far. So I live in New Jersey.

2:09.2

It was in Pennsylvania, he was doing it about an hour away or so. And I showed up and sure enough,

2:13.8

he's, you know, he's everything I thought he was and wanted him to be. And it was a great,
