Interesting proposal from Canada, Jim.

The Songwriters Association of Canada is proposing essentially a digital tax

on music file sharing in Canada.

They're talking about adding a $5 monthly fee for every wireless internet account in the country

and then distributing this money to songwriters to compensate them

for the massive internet file sharing that's going on right now we're talking about

50 billion files being shared every year this proposal puts some money on the table.
