Hey guys, welcome to new players joined, a podcast about the video games people love and why they love them

It's the holiday season so Keith and I are traveling a lot or visiting family and friends

So what we've done for this week is we've reached back into the vault. We've got an episode that a lot of you probably haven't heard yet.

Today we're returning to our before and after series

to talk about one of Keith's favorite games as a kid,

ESPN Extreme Games.

It's a super fun game. It's also a super funny game to look back at and see the limitations of. It's very much of its time. It's very fun. We had a ton of fun talking about it. It's also just an older episode of ours we recorded, maybe more than half a year ago.

So there's a lot of talk about Overwatch and Keith playing that up front, which is very funny because we've both since the lead to that game because now we hate Blizzard.

So you know it's dated in that way but the episode's super fun.

I am excited. I'm nervous. I always like with first-person shooter games, especially competitive. I'm like, this has the potential to be really stressful.

So here's why counter-strike stressful.

Counter-strike stressful is because it's really hard to aim,

it's really hard to shoot people.

You aren't special.

Yeah. You can't be helpful to anyone else.
