And we are going to talk today about a lake that in many ways

I suppose foreshadowed what has now become of the carp scene this was the original from

my opinion the original super water yes to country park yes yeah we're going to go back

to around 2005 arguably before the lake peaked.

These are the first photos that you've got of the lake and the start of your involvement over there.

And I think it probably started with, everyone will remember the underwater that you did.

Yeah, I think it was five and six under water.

Yeah, we were desperately looking for somewhere.

We got tipped off by, I think, Steve Rennard.

Obviously, John Bannister's heavily involved at that point.

And, yeah, Steve was 110% confident that this swim called the Snags would be the one to fish in the spring.

And he was absolutely right, you know, and the rest as they say is history, you know.

And there's no point talking about that because we, I mean, that's a podcast all in itself, I suppose, the underwater is, you know.
