Hey friend. So the other day, my sister-in-law was over and we were sitting in the living room

hanging out while the boys ran around us like wild animals

doing circles. And in that short period of time where it was quiet enough to have a conversation,

I was sharing with her that I was interested in doing a little living room refresh, like new

curtains, something super economical. My little Levi, who's four years old,

tends to, when I'm not looking, use the curtains as napkins. So that's really the main reason.

I can't get a lot of the stains out, and they're at this point about seven years old,

faded beyond belief. And I just thought it's a nice refresh.

You know, it doesn't cost a ton to replace a couple curtains. And anyway, she responded with something

really interesting, which inspired today's episode. So she started off her response to me saying,

you know, I wanted a kind of new curtains. And she said, no offense. dot, dot, dot, right? And I don't know about you,

but any sentence that starts with no offense usually ends up being offensive. So she said,

no offense, but your home looks like you just moved into it. Like you're waiting for the rest of your furniture to arrive

from the moving truck. So I'm not sure, Katie, that new curtains are going to do what you want it to do.

Like if they're going to have the impact that you want them to have in your home. And surprisingly,

I like literally was not offended. A hundred percent, I was like, yeah, no, I get what you're saying.

I can look around my living room and go, it is a little bear, and it's probably not going
