But we have the next best thing, probably, which is Jenny Reeder, who is a good friend and who has written a little bit about Emma Smith. So,

Jenny, say hi to everybody. Hi, everyone. I wish Emma was here, too. I would love to ask her a few

questions. So, Jenny, what about Emma Smith should our listeners be excited about this week?

Wonderful. Well, before we dig all into that, Casey, maybe we should introduce Jenny to our

listeners here. Yeah, let me give her bio and then we'll hear what she has to say. So, Jenny Reeder is a

19th century specialist in the Historic Sites Division in the Church History Department. She has a Ph.D.

in American History, with an emphasis in women's history, religious history, memory, and material culture.

Her dissertation, doing something extraordinary, Mormon women, and the creation of the usable

past, explores the material culture used to commemorate the first 50 years of Relief Society,
