That's great, Matt, because this week on the show, we begin book three, The Wasteland,

and we're going to be discussing all of chapter one bear and bone. Roland, Susanna, and

Eddie fight a big bear as Roland starts to go paradoxically crazy, and Eddie starts whittling away his

days. And our story finally reveals a little bit more about itself.

Matt, what do you think about this week's reading?

Yeah, I mean, what you just said there, I think is what stands out to me, the idea that

we're finally after two books learning what the hell's going on.

Yeah.

Which, I mean, it's been fun.

It's been fun being confused up till this point, but I think that this is like the perfect

time to start being like, all right, this is, this is what's going on.

This is what this world is.

And this is what the mission is going to be.

And I'm here for it.

Yeah, I mean, I think in the past, I've kind of said that the wastelands is where the

series really starts to get weird and i mean that in

the best way possible like and this is this is a book series that is just generally very weird it just

is from the very first page but this as the mythology of the world starts to fill itself out a
