If you have followed me on any type of social media platform, you probably know that I'm a big fan of the horror genre.

And clearly, if you listen to this podcast, you can tell them a fan of stories that are on the darker side of things.

I've corresponded with quite a few of you, and it humors me to no end that as much as you all

enjoy true crime, you guys really don't like the horror genre of movies that much.

That really cracks me up.

But I guess there are differences, fact versus fiction.

As much as I enjoy horror movies, I will admit that I

turn into a complete chicken if I see the words, based on true events, or something along those lines,

at the beginning of a film. That makes whatever I'm about to see a thousand times more frightening because there is some

level of truth behind the Hollywoodified story that's going to pass by my eyes frame by frame.

You see this disclaimer on a lot of stories having to do with the paranormal, which is something

I do not screw with.

Ever. Who knows what's true in this world, but you guys can keep your Ouija boards, unmarked tapes found in the corner of your attic, whatever the hell it is.

You can keep that to yourselves.

Leave me out of it.

Anyway, as far back as I can remember, I have watched scary movies.

I always insisted.

After much browbeating, my parents relented because nine times out of ten, the movie that was on was super edited for TV.

So it wasn't as bad.

Only a little blood, and I wouldn't be subjected to that awkward 1970s

sex scenes that always have some crazy amount of moaning, and it's so obviously fake.
