We've been thinking of it as primarily

about the preparation for and the transition to college,

So some of the first things we're going to talk about can be hard to hear,

but they are sort of facts that we have to grapple with

as parents and professionals working with this population. So in today's world

it's important to know that not all college students who enter college

graduate and I'm sure many of you in the audience have sent young people off to college and hopefully you've experienced many of them succeeding.

But college transition is hard for everybody.

And what the research is telling us is that it can be especially unnerving for individuals with ADHD and LD more than for their peers who don't have these issues.
