Tigers trade deadline or MLB trade deadline in general,

rap comes up on July 31st.

31st happens to be a pretty big day, obviously, with the Hall of Fame game happening

down in Canton, Ohio.

But obviously, when it comes to baseball, because right now it seems like things are getting

red hot with the Tigers, first team to 60 wins, still the top team in all of baseball. But the trade

deadline is getting a little more heated. I talked about this during the break, that the Tigers

could, they definitely need some bullpen help. And they could use a big bat to kind of

bolster this offense. Because three runs in three games and they only were

three runs in the last two. And it was the same thing with the Cleveland games, which is wild

because there's so many other games when it feels like it's just a barn burner and it's, I don't

know, the instinct is going, oh no, we have tons of offense. Like, do we really need a bat? But yeah, weirdly, it's, I don't know, the instinct is going, oh, no, we have tons of offense.

But yeah, weirdly, it's kind of inconsistent.

We're either, you know, eight to seven, you know, 12 to nine games or it's, hey, let's

win two to one.

Right.

I mean, getting a two one victory is fine and all.

But at the same time, when you look at

like the stats all around, there are opportunities galore in that 2-1 victory yesterday.

There are a lot of opportunities to make that an even bigger, a bigger win. And the fact that Scoobel had an outstanding outing and he still gets a no decision
