lucid news and two bits of lucid news kick off the podcast today. Can EVs be long-distance haulers without

stopping too often? A recent experiment by two gentlemen proves that yes, they drove the

Lucid Air Grand Touring from Los Angeles to New York. That's 2,806 miles, to be exact, and they stopped

only seven times. The journey actually followed the old cannonball run route,

and they said with proper planning and the use of tools like a better route planner and plug share,

it was not only feasible. It was actually pretty straightforward. Lucidair Grand Touring, let me remind

you, 112 kilowatt hour battery pack, 506 miles EPA range, on 19 inch wheels. They rode this one on 21s,

so that reduces the range. But even then, they were doing about 400 miles comfortably between

charging stops. And over the 2,806 miles, like I say, they consumed less than 700 kilowatt hours, so better than 4 miles per
