2006 NFL draft preview a look at what your Philadelphia Eagles could do in the draft that is less than a week away. We're only a few days away. Crazy. Can't wait for it to get here. Very excited how close it is and can't wait to go through it with all of you guys. So we're going to do something a little bit different today. So far in the draft preview, we've done mock drafts, we've done positional previews, and we did all the

positions, all of them on offense, all of them on defense. Maybe you should have done special

teams, but that's a note for next year. So today, though, we are going to focus on something that I

think is actually like a pretty good chance Eagles will take a player from this. And we're going to talk

about guys in the

26 East West Shrine Bowl game that could make sense for the Eagles to draft. Now, you're

probably thinking, Elliot, why are we focusing on one game months after it happened? Well, because since

this game happened, the Eagles have hired Sean Mannion as the offensive coordinator. Breaking news,

I don't know if you knew that, but Sean Mannion is his team's offensive coordinator.

And Sean Manion was the offensive coordinator at the Shrine Bowl. So put two and two together

here. Sean Manion, who has been in the NFL, you know, as a coach for only two years, never been

at a high-ranking position, is now years, never been at a high-ranking

position, is now all of a sudden in a high-ranking position for a team that's about to

take part in the draft as they try to put together a new offense that he's going to be a huge

part of and find players that fit this new offense.

Well, Sean Mannion just had a up-close impersonal experience with all the players
