football podcast and I'm Nick Rouse with Adam Bucket after a whirlwind weekend. Yes,

if I sound exasperated because it was pretty crazy. Look at what you know, we're getting

close to football season. I was hoping to talk ball, but they had different plans for

us. The powers that be. Feels like a dream, right? Like I keep waiting to wake up. Like,

well, that was a really weird dream. There's a lot here. This is a football podcast. So I think

the big takeaway is there's some stuff with Kyle and Barnhart. That's the probably the big,

biggest thing to come at all this. Okay. So we don't really need to get into all that. I mean,

that's pretty, I think, blatant quote unquote entitled grace. All that, all those big buzzwords

we heard from the athletic director on Saturday in a 40 minute felt like. Oh, I was being

preached to. So I mean, it was just a lot there. That is clear. I mean, that's, yeah, like

that face right. That's how I felt. I was taught like much more. I was talking to me. I don't

think I was getting that face. That is that is clear. But the big thing here is like, how is this

where is football? Where's Kentucky football all this? What do they fall? I think that's what our

audience wants to know. And go ahead. I would just say that somehow, but it feels like not only

is the college football world kind of rallying behind Mark's shoes, but the team really rallyed

behind it. And therefore, you know, in the immediate aftermath of Kyle's basketball school

comments, there was a point where you thought, oh, man, is, uh, is, is stupes making a mistake

by not letting this just slide under the rug, right? Because it wasn't, it wasn't really a story

until more stupes reacted. And then that's what, but Kyle said something he had to, he had to,

he called, he went to Thanksgiving, he called his brother sister, said she didn't look good,

and then he called her fat. Like, you have to say something. Like, you just cannot, he cannot
