Yeah, I'm pretty sure it's much like the LDS church in and of itself. We have a tendency of putting you to sleep

while discussing such topics. And here we go. What are we going on tap for today?

What I was planning on doing as for today

is bringing up a lot of the issues

that the LDS church either hides from its users

or just outright ignores and calls it Mormon propaganda. Now the LDS Church I mean to

give you an idea of how big Joseph Smith is in the LDS Church. My dad, on several occasions, and the last one being just a few

months ago, sat me down and told me that other than Jesus Christ himself,

Joseph Smith is the only other person

to bring about more souls to God.

That is actually, I believe, in the Doctrine and Covens. Oh, is it? I believe in the document covenants.

Oh is it? I believe it's in the section where they detail his martyrdom.

Yeah, so it's section 135 of the doctrine of covenants. Verse 3. Joseph Smith, the Prophet and the Seeer of the Doctrine and Covenants, verse 3.

Joseph Smith, the Prophet and Seer of the Lord,

has done more, saved Jesus only for the salvation

of men in this world than any other man that ever lived in it.

The only reason why Charlie knows that is because the doctrine

and covenants bores the shit out of me. In fact I have never ever been able to get

more than a few chapters into it. Yeah, it's a series of revelations, put that in quotes, given to Joseph Smith.

And it was actually a full year, it was like church history, doctrine and covenants in seminary and that was unfortunately one of the

years that I got I would rather have gotten the book of Mormon that was the one I skipped
