Hello everybody, welcome back to How Come. I'm so excited for this week's episode. We are talking about accessibility and inclusivity with Pamela Rae Schuhler. She's my friend. She's also an internationally known disability advocate and stand-up comedian.

She's got amazing stories of growing up in a body she had no control over. Her stories are so engaging. They're so powerful. They're a little bit heart-wrenching, but also unapologetically funny.

But we're talking to Pamela right now. So I love to this episode. The only thing is I was so depressed the day that we recorded it.

But I was feeling a lot better yesterday, the day that we recorded the companion congratulations from this week, which is also amazing.

Her name is Becky. She lives in Florida. She is 40 and she has a lot of first times that we celebrate.

But during editing, I just like, it was crazy to listen to how depressed I was one week and how much better I felt this week.

And so that's just like a good reminder to everybody that even if you're down one week, you can feel so much better another week.

And I do think that's thanks to therapy for sure. We recorded Pamela's part when I was still in Portland.

And then we recorded Becky's part when I was here in New York at my brother's apartment, the one who was supposed to move into Nans.

Because I finally got to visit Oliver. The baby. He's so cute.

You'll like hear him cry in the background of this episode a few times. And I don't know, maybe later on I'll put in a louder crying sound bite that I got from him.

But yeah, he's so cute. I tested negative. I got that. I did most of the appropriate steps. I really saw nobody leading up to it.

I just like stayed inside and like watch stuff online. I figured out a loophole to the hotspot thing. Apparently in New York, they have these like free wireless stations on the street that you can like plug into.

And my room happens to be very close to one. I don't get internet in the living room, but I get it in my bed. And I'm like, I guess I have to work from bed.

But yeah, it's I figured it out. And I watched something this week that I highly recommend. There is a new documentary out on Hulu called hysterical.

It is about female comics and the industry. And there are so many great comics in it. Jessica Kerson, Nikki Glazer, Rachel Feinstein, Bonnie McFarland, Marina Franklin, Margaret Cho, Kelly Bachman.
