Welcome to the Dr. Axch show. I'm Dr. Axch. Today we have Dr. David Perlmutter.

He is a board certified neurologist and four-time New York Times best-selling

author.

You know, I've known Dr. Perlmutter for years and I can tell you I am always so impressed

by several things.

One, his passion for helping people get healthy.

He has such a passion that some doctors have and some don't.

So I love that about him.

He is so in tune with the latest research.

Unfortunately, sometimes, you know, doctors don't stay up on it,

but Dr. Perlmutter does, which I love.

And, you know, I have recommended his books in the past,

including Grain Brain to so many people you know that book alone

sold more than a million copies and you know he's been on Dr. Oz CNN Fox News everything you'd imagine he's been

awarded with a lot of awards for really being a pioneer in you know in

education and it really helping people realize that we need to start getting healthy

we got to reduce inflammation we got to take care of our gut health and really looking at this thing called

the gut brain connection and Dr Perlmutter also has a new book out we're going to talk about it's called

Brain Wash and he actually co-authored this book with his son Austin Perlmutter.

This will be available in 2020 January, which we'll talk about too.
