The tariff wars continue this morning, as President Trump confirmed at a cabinet meeting yesterday,

he said that there will be a transition cost, he said, or problems as America's supply chain

pivots back towards the homeland.

Well, Reuters news is reporting that he might just be right.

Germany's BMW is now considering boosting their output of cars made in South Carolina by 80,000

vehicles all in order to avoid Trump's tariffs. On the other hand, we have Walmart. They are stuck

with their Chinese suppliers this morning, at least for things like Christmas decorations,

which, by the way, make up about 87% of America's supply of that holiday stuff.

Bloomberg is reporting that Walmart is now asking their Chinese suppliers to please stop marking the prices on the packaging before it shipped.

Reuters is confirming that they airlifted about 600 tons of iPhones to the United States a number a week ago, all to avoid Trump's tariffs. That will, of course, give them an extra 1.5 million units of iPhones,

give or take. That would, of course, be many, many months worth of supplies while this trade war

continues. Those supplies, by the way, came from India. And speaking of, New Delhi expects to seal a deal

with the White House in very short order. Reuters is reporting that India's leadership thinks that they're probably going to be one of
