All right, the death penalty.

0:07.2

I've always liked talking about the death penalty because we are, I think, one of two or three industrialized nations on the planet that still have the death penalty.

0:15.1

It just doesn't exist in most of the world.

0:18.1

And so people get executed in this country. California has been 13 or 14 years,

0:23.9

even though we do have the death penalty here. Then you have states like Texas where people are

0:29.9

executed about as often as I change my underwear every week. You have someone going down. You have

0:35.4

1:41.2

inherently cruel and unusual just because of the death penalty. Well,

1:44.8

the courts threw that one out. So now it is attacking the methods of execution. And it used

1:52.3

to be, you know, I mean, used to have some fun stuff. You'd have the electric chair where people
