And we begin with the publisher of America's oldest dictionary choosing its word of the year.

And probably to no one's great surprise, the winner is vaccine.

Although the word's first known use states back to 1882, Miriam Webster ranked at one

of the most highly searched words every day so far in 2021.

Are there close contenders for this year's top prize, infrastructure, insurrection, and

nomad?

Also in the running, Perseverance, which as you probably know is also the name of NASA's

toughest nails, Mars Rover, that winning name was chosen by a Virginia 7th grader, Alex

Mathur, out of 28,000 entries in a contest the space organization held last year.

There's a major shake up in the Twitter sphere.

Jack Dorsey is stepping down as CEO of the company he founded 15 years ago.

Mr. Dorsey is credited with bringing the messaging service to life by sending the very first

tweet, which read, just setting up my Twitter.

But this isn't the first time Mr. Dorsey has said ta-ta to Twitter, he was forced out

of the top spot in 2008 and went on to create the successful mobile payment company Square.
