The CDC recently issued its regulations for cruise lines to begin

sailing again out of US ports.

Right now, cruise lines are free to test the new protocols on their ships

sailing with crew only, and the crew only testing involves implementing the new protocols

which involve extensive testing of passengers, quarantining,

how quarantining will be done in those close quarters,

requirement for social distancing on the ships and the rest,

because as you may remember, early in coronavirus late last winter,

there were some horrific situations with coronavirus spreading in the

close quarters of ships, and it destroyed the public's confidence in going on

cruises, and then we had the thing where there were ships out at sea where no port

would allow the ships in, no country would allow them in,

and it was really, really ugly.
