I don't know if we have time to get into this, but I'm looking at a study here about

accents, and they surveyed people in America and asked them what accent.

I thought it was going to be foreign accents, but these are all American accents.

And which American accent, which form of American accent, Americans like best.

It all depends on women or a man, right?

No, it doesn't, you know, to me, that makes a difference. A southern woman sounds a lot better than a southern man. Sorry. I wasn't aware. Southern men sound like necks. There were 23 different accents in America, but that's what they break them down to. Let me guess. Let me guess before you say them. Right. New England,, although I don't know if it's all big... But like Boston is different than New York. Well, no, I'm not met, but New York's not New England. Okay. So New York, Jersey. They're in there. Mid-Atlantic. Well, yeah, they don't... Oh, yeah, I don't know it is. Yeah.

Maine is really weird and New Hampshire they have a different brogue too.

Mid-Atlantic is not California. And what's a Pacific Northwest accent? You tell me, Todd, you live there. Like somebody from Portland? I have no idea. No, I couldn't identify. You lived in Portland, Todd. Yeah. And I couldn't say. Isn't it certain words? I can tell from your voice that you're from Portland.

No, it was pretty generic as far as I knew. Do they sound sort of Canadian? Like, how did they sound in Vancouver? A little of that creeping in? One of the most generic. Does anybody watch Portlandia? Do you think if there was anything to that they would have popped up in that show. Appalachians in there.
