0:26.1	his sentencing has been postponed indefinitely.
0:29.8	And now special counsel Jack Smith, after indicting Donald Trump on a small mountain of federal
0:36.4	charges, has filed motions to drop them.
0:39.8	And a judge has agreed to fully dismiss the 2020 election interference case against Donald Trump.
0:50.4	Why?
0:51.4	Well, because Trump's victory means that Department of Justice tradition, not legal policy, tradition, says we don't prosecute sitting presidents, which Trump will soon be. Yes, the same Trump who claimed that the prosecutions were a political witch hunt is now being shielded
1:13.4	by a DOJ policy or convention meant to ensure that presidents can focus on running the country
1:22.6	without pesky distractions like multiple felony indictments and trials.
1:28.5	This was the first time in American history that a president faced federal charges for
1:35.3	clinging to power and obstructing justice.
1:39.0	And yet here we are watching the cases evaporate like a maga hat in the wind like a miracle um trump's victory of course
1:49.2	fueled by just under 50% of voters shrugging off january 6th and four years of chaos and putting

2:00.8	And it has once again proven that irony is alive and well, but so is ignorance.
