We first met Michael Savage if I remember correctly in 2003.

We were working at the same radio station in San Francisco.

And I had a chance to hang out with him a few times over the years.

I'll tell you this.

Honestly, Michael Savage sometimes when he's doing radio, particularly when he's talking about like his personal life and childhood is the best radio I've ever heard coming out of speakers on the radio.

Honest to God.

He's on hundreds of radio stations. He's in the radio hall of fame. He's one of the most important hosts in the history of talk radio.

Frankly, Michael Savage joins us. Dr. Savage, how are you, sir?

What a buildup. How do you follow that?

You know what? I'm going to embarrass you a little bit more.

First time I ever heard your show. And you know, we agree on a lot of things.

We disagree on certain things. But I listen to you and I thought, wow, that much, Hutzpah, that much middle finger to like, you know,

the expectations of management and then mass media and wow, you can be that gutsy. And I thought, OK, I logged that way in my how to do radio file.

So I thank you for that influence.

It's an interesting topic that we should talk about maybe one day, which is the whole issue of naturalistic radio.

I was thinking about it last week.

Has it been on the air 24 years this March starting on KGO, by the way, where you're you're on in the mornings, aren't you?

Yeah, I was I was over this station last week. And I asked about, you know, the morning show, they said, what you're on KGO and you're doing great.

You wanted a top shows in the market. I said, I don't doubt it. They really talented guys.

But I mean, you're on your on KST up at Sacramento where I used to be in the afternoon.

I don't know what happened to that, but I loved that audience. Sacramento.

Right. And the feeling was mutual. That was about five sets of management ago. So I'd have to go back into my memory bank.
