Kind of spoke to me, but you can replace what he's talking about here with any passion that you might have. Well, yours is golf. Yeah, well, this is different. I've been dating an amazing woman for about six months. She's smart, kind, funny, beautiful. Honestly, think she could be the one. We get along great except for one small thing. It started to feel like a big one. She absolutely hates the snow. I, on the other hand, live for it. Lifelong skier, I compete in local races out of the weekend. Winter's my favorite time of year. I grew up in the mountains and the smell of cold air, and the crunch of fresh snow under my boots makes me feel alive. She grew up in Florida. Does he want to be winter year-round? Because they could compromise and just live somewhere where it's nice in the summer. in the winter. He lives somewhere near the mountains. You know, like you can be in Denver. And he wants to enjoy this with her. He doesn't want it to be a solo thing. She grew up in Florida into her snow or something to look at from inside a cozy cabin, not something to barrel down the mountain in. When I talk about race days, proper conditions, or waxing skis, her eyes glaze over. I tried taking her to a ski weekend once, and she was miserable, cold and anxious, and counting the minutes until we go home. Well, that's fine. Yeah, just have separate interests than your spouse. I don't expect her to suddenly love skiing, but I also don't want to give it up. It's a big part of who I am. I keep wondering if this is something we can laugh and live with, or if it means we're just built for different seasons of life. Get a skier and a snow hater, really make it work, snowbound and smitten. Oh, God. and he says i'd dump of it that he signed it

It's just a difference in thermostat settings. Go ski. Let her stay cozy by the fire with a book. See, I don't think she wants to even be in the mountains. Yeah, she wants warm weather. Ben beaten in the middle for hot chocolate and nachos. The best relationships aren't about identical interests with mutual respect. If you can cheer each other on, even from opposite ends of the ski lodge, you'll be in good shape. Love after all is its own kind of adventure. I don't think she wants to even go into the mountains. So I wouldn't advise that guy that you should probably move on Well, just go vacation skiing without her.

And her passion is to avoid snow. I think if he thinks this could be a deal breaker, it's a red flag on his end. Right. doesn't want a woman that bad you got to compromise
