0:14.8	The supposed landslide victory giving Donald Trump a massive mandate has completely evaporated. That is right. Among
0:24.2	other things, as more and more votes have been counted, Donald Trump's share of the vote has dropped
0:30.5	below 50%. It's tough to say you have a mandate when most people voted for somebody else. Let's take a deeper dive
0:39.7	at the numbers. As you can see on the screen, Donald Trump receiving 49.9% of the popular
0:47.6	vote. 50.1% of the popular vote went to other candidates. Of course, the vast majority to Kamala Harris.
0:58.5	And let's talk about that. You may recall that in 2016, Hillary Clinton won the popular
1:03.9	vote by 2.1. Donald Trump is currently leading the popular vote by only 1.7.
1:11.9	What about the raw vote totals?
1:14.2	Well, Hillary Clinton won the popular vote by 2.8 million votes.
1:19.1	And Donald Trump is now winning by just 2.6 million votes.
1:24.0	Hillary Clinton had better results in 2016 than Donald Trump this time from a popular
1:31.6	vote standpoint. Now, none of this is me saying Kamala Harris should be made president. Of course
1:37.8	not. We're not like them. She lost. We have an electoral college. You need 270 electoral votes to win and Donald Trump got
1:47.2	them. Kamala Harris didn't. But the point here is that in the hours following November 5th,
1:54.0	the Maggats, the Magapatamians and even the Magadonians, I don't know, are these three different groups?
2:01.1	Who knows?
2:02.0	Even the Magadonians were saying this is a landslide victory indicative of a mandate in which
2:08.8	Donald Trump should be allowed to do whatever he wants.
2:11.9	When you're famous, they just let you do it.
2:15.2	Who was it that said that before? But of course, this is very much not the case.
